AB 685 is a new California law that requires employers to notify employees who may have been exposed to COVID-19 and to report workplace outbreaks of COVID-19 to the local health department. The California Department of Public Health has developed information that summarizes and clarifies the information in the bill, and that information is available at the following URLs:
