Specific areas of responsibility consist of public streets including sidewalks, pavement, street and traffic signs, traffic signals and street lighting, pavement markings, and bike paths and walkways; parks maintenance including street medians, turf, playgrounds, athletic courts, restrooms, weed abatement, and landscape planning and maintenance; facilities maintenance including the repair and maintenance of all City buildings, pools and spas, and athletic equipment; fleet services including new vehicle and equipment specification reviews and the repair and maintenance of all City vehicles, stationary equipment, and emergency generators; trees including the installation, removal, and maintenance of publicly owned trees and landscaping.
