Open/Close an account

Opening an Account

All Residential and Commercial establishments will need to apply for Water/Sewer services. You may sign up for services by either coming into the office at 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park or contacting the Utility Department at 585-6750. A $100.00 deposit is required for all new accounts.

If a residential property will be unoccupied for a minimum of sixty (60) days, the account holder can apply for Temporary Utility Service. More information about Temporary Service can be found here.


Transferring an Account

Existing utility customers moving to another address in Rohnert Park must open a new account to transfer services to their new address by coming into the office at 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park, or by contacting the Utility Department at 585-6750. A $100.00 deposit is required for all new accounts, including transfers.

Social security or driver license verification is required for transfers of service. 


Closing an Account

To close a utility account, residents may come into the office at 130 Avram Avenue, Rohnert Park, or contact the Utility Department by phone at 585-6750, or by email at [email protected].

When closing an account, residents must provide the requested closeout date and their forwarding address and phone number. Twenty-four (24) hour notice is required to close an account.

Social security or driver license verification is required to close an account.
